My biggest takeaway was that no matter if we achieve all the wants that we think will make us happier, our brain will eventually default back to the level before getting those objects.

Biggest take away: Schedule more events in place of things.
I thought of the quote “Money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy coffee and that’s pretty much the same thing.” Having the biggest and nicest things may make you think you will be happy. You may temporarily, but once those nice, expensive things become your norm, the happiness will fade.
You have a default level of happiness.
My takeaway was that I need to focus on my mindset and be happy in the moment. I will focus more on living in the moment and not what if I had more.
One of my biggest takeaways is that money can’t buy happiness. I also need to set time for my spouse, so he knows that I do care and that his needs are also being met. I was surprised to here about the default of happiness. I’m going to work on being a happier person.
