Why You Should Attend

Reason 1: Grades should have meaning.

Our current grading practices lack real meaning and reported achievement data is inconsistent and imprecise.

Reason 2: Students should have the opportunity to master the standards.

State Standards have helped make learning targets more rigorous, consistent, and transparent, but there's still too many to teach in a given school year.

Reason 3: Curriculum should be aligned.

Kim Strobel will paint the big picture of Standards-Based Grading and then demonstrate the exact steps you need to take to begin implementation of this initiative.

Kim Strobel

Meet Your Instructor

Kim has helped schools throughout the country adopt a Standards-Based Grading System that ensures ALL students have the opportunity to demonstrate learning and mastery of the standards.

Hiring Strobel Education to help us implement Standards-Based Grading has been one of the best investments we have made in the professional development of our teachers.
