74% of struggling readers won't catch up after 3rd grade.

We can build reading habits that support comprehension through the practice of Close Reading.

Research shows that the complexity of text students read is the greatest predictor of success in college and those entering the workplace. Unfortunately, many students struggle with complex texts written at their grade level as defined by the core standards and are grade levels below in reading comprehension.

Our Close Reading training puts research in a learning format that helps teachers understand when and how to increase reading achievement in BIG ways.

Close Reading is a critical component to closing the gap of college and career readiness. And we’ve done all the work for you.

In this workshop, we show you why this practice needs to be part of your reading tool kit and make it bite-sized and relevant for you and your students. And then we GIVE you the exact lesson plans, activities, and visuals you need to take these concepts to your classroom and empower your students the very next day.
