Engaging the 21st Century Learner Workshop:

Classroom Strategies to Increase Engagement and Rigor

Full Day Workshop - June 9, 2022 - 9:00-4:00 PM CST

Motivating students is one of the major challenges teachers face on a daily basis.

After several months of remote learning combined with the competing demands of screen time and technology, our students are struggling to stay connected to their learning and our teachers feel frustrated with their lack of focus and engagement.

A Gallup survey shows that less than half of our students feel engaged in school.

We can help students feel the drive and motivation to engage, learn, work effectively, and achieve their potential at school, but we have to do things a bit differently. Learning simple techniques to increase their interest and enjoyment of school makes a big difference.

Students today are experts at filtering, organizing and connecting information. But they are struggling to connect to the content.

Students who are motivated by and engaged in learning tend to perform considerably higher academically and are better behaved than unmotivated and un-engaged peers

In this workshop, we give you the tools, tricks, resources, and strategies to help you connect the content to your students in real and meaningful ways.
