Ralph Waldon Emerson wrote, “A man is what he thinks about all day long.”
Author, Earl Nightingale, said, “We become what we think about.”
Mark Twain wrote, “Life consists mainly of the storm of thoughts that is forever flowing through one’s head.”
Most of us focus on changing our environment and believe that in doing so, our lives will change.
We buy things for a materialistic boost of happiness (guilty!). 👠 👠 👠
We engage in addictive types of behavior (eating, exercise, alcohol, etc.) to escape our problems and numb our minds. 🍔🍔🍷🍷🏃🏾♂️🏃🏾♂️
But guess what?
We fall back to where we started, unhappy with where we are today, and the cycle repeats itself.
We are always focusing on the external factors we need to change our lives because we falsely believe change begins from the outside.
It doesn’t.
In order to change your life, you have to look within and change yourself from the inside out. This starts with your thoughts and beliefs.
If your thoughts and beliefs aren’t serving you, it’s time to take a look at the concept of a growth mindset vs. a fixed mindset.
I created a course on this topic, and it’s one of my FAVORITE things to teach because it’s about teaching students to have a growth mindset and how to download a new set of beliefs to get different results.

Most adults who take the course feel like it’s also a personal development course for them because so much of what I teach is true for us, too.
It’s a double-whammy of good PD when it works for both students and teachers.
Always here cheering you on!
